I was lucky enough to attend a UCI World Cup when they were still doing 4x - without a doubt the most exciting racing I have witnessed on bikes. It's to bad this is not a more popular event

It's very popular and a crowd favorite. Problem is that the UCI is pretty much against it and facilitation of the events. I find it funny they try to run a 4X 'World Champs' and piggy back off of the 4X Pro Tour's hard work

I have to say this event was amazing. Fort William really does not disappoint. As a rider I was treated so well by all of the uplift staff. The track is the definition of 4X. I cannot wait until next year.
