I'm also looking into rockshox vivid air. If I can get one for a good price, I'll probably pull the trigger and she'll be even lighter.

When running single ply High Rollers front and back, its a little over 38lbs, and around 40lbs with double ply minions. Not bad for a bike classically known as a "tank". Compare that with a Status 2 @ 42-43lbs (http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/bikes/mountain/product/review-specialized-status-2-12-45229), why did they replace the Big Hit with this???.

My 2011 Big Hit with 2013 Totems and work components headset is my SX Trail replacement. Will be for some time. On a side note, RIP specialized Big Hit.
