Video and Photo Epic: Life Beyond Walls With the Smith Team - Trans-Cascadia 2015
Don't be daft @chyu. He's still in our thoughts. All I'm saying is he can't be all we think about, and this event, and this outstanding article about the Smith sponsored women should get the credit it deserves without having some other story take all the attention.

This is great news, but come on dude, this is not the article to be posting this up. This is an outstanding photo article and vid. Give it the credit it deserves.

Video: Off the Beaten Path - Extended Trailer
Pfffft. This movie already came out, but the story line was cooler, and the bikes were of the more regular tyre width. They claimed it was all happening in the UnReal world, but I'm pretty sure I just saw a few of the same spots on this trailer...

Opinion: Paying it Forward
Good read. This will certainly resonate with folk in Wellington, and probably a lot of other regions in NZ too. Some trails we have are dual use, but built by mountain bikers, with mountain bikers in mind. We get annoyed when we're riding and we see walkers on these tracks, but the reality is, the land owner (Wellington City Council) have said that if trails are to be built in this area, they are to be for walkers and bikers alike. Their land, their rules. Fair enough...

Video: Morpheus VSlope 2016
I agree. I had a GT Distortion as a trail bike. She was a bit heavy, but a great all rounder, pretty burly and reliable, even if I did need to tighten the pivots rather frequently...

First Look: Solid, Ibis and Formula - Eurobike 2015
In a world where first impressions last, I can say I'll never own Formula RX brakes again. Would happily bolt on Shimano Deores before RX's, in fact I replaced my RX's with Deores earlier this year. The difference? Night and day in favour of the low spec Shimano offering at a fraction of the price. Formula might have some great brakes at the top end of their range, but at the prices they go for, I may never find out how good they are...

First Look: Devinci Hendrix - Eurobike 2015
I disagree @Keyboardkilla, I had a 2014 GT Distortion, had a 66.5°. head angle with a 140mm fork. They are used as slope bikes by the GT team members, and are slacker than this bike (67.3-67.7°).

Enduro World Series Unveils 2016 Calendar
I think the reason many didn't enjoy it is because when it rained, the hero dirt turned into a water slide making it extremely difficult to stay on the bike, then they got the timings all wrong between stages 1 and 2 which meant that a lot of people didn't make the start gate in time for their run. Bit harsh to say the trails weren't good because the weather didn't play along, and a bit harsh to hate on the organisation skills of Kiwi's and Maori over a timing fuck up during thier first ever EWS event as if stuff ups like that haven't happened in other EWS events around the world. I agree there will need to be improvements in 2016, and I guarantee there will be. Could you imagine putting on a gig like Crankworx for the first time? No matter what nationality you are, or what race you align with, there would be teething problems so really don't appreciate the comments about the Kiwi way... The views aren't as good in Rotorua, but the trail network is IMBA Gold Grade. A standard Queenstown certainly hasn't achieved. Yet. I'm not saying Queenstown/Wanaka isn't epic, because it most certainly is, but Only Rotorua and Nelson have a gold star from IMBA... And just to negate your "I know people comment", I also have a few pro friends. They said Crankworx and the EWS round were outstanding.
