A new generation of Giddy Up bikes has emerged. The all new Carbon Patrol takes the award winning alloy Patrol suspension and geo and goes full carbon. Weight savings, new features and feel on the trail make the Patrol Carbon one of the most exciting bikes Transition has ever created.
But everybody pissed and moaned about Cove's marketing... personally, I loved the Shocker, I wouldn't mind an STD, and how wouldnt want a Hummer? And wasn't there something about a 650BJ?
The difference between cove and this ad is that the name of the bike is still patrol, not std. When you say you own an std that's a lot different than owning a patrol, which happens to have T.I.T.S
Whatever happened to their Completely Optimized Carbon Kinetics and Basically Aligned Linear Leverage System technologies. C.O.C.K. and B.A.L.L.S. would work so well with T.I.T.S.
I just think that after playing with their C.O.C.K. and B.A.L.L.S. technologies for a few years, the company matured and upgraded to T.I.T.S. We could say they're about to hit a home run with this one.
I am no expert but that looks very like a Plush Upper Suspension System Yoke with a Two Wheel Activated Travel Systems there!
'Gratz to Patrol for making my day!
One of the most beautiful and shredable-looking bikes out there. ...actually that's a viable statement for the entire Transition product line Can't wait for my Smuggler 2016 to arrive!
I bought a Kona Process and was pretty flabbergasted when the housing ACTUALLY ROUTED THROUGH THE FRAME without causing me frustration/tears. Kudos to any company that is down to earth enough to incorporate easy routing. Shame on a certain company who have had a Rocky relationship with this feature in their Mountain bikes.
Tubes In Tubes Systems are so great, I have 2!
What Minimum Empathy Nodes don't understand is that all you gotta do to avoid sexist objectification in manufacturing is also give us some Downhill Issue Crown Knobs.
Super awesome Edit and it was really cool to be able to see this bike perform! Some of these trails are our DH training trails and range from super rooty and techy steep to some big mountain climbs, this bike and Lars ruled them all!
Transition have smashed it again! The 2014 Carbon Covert was the stiffest enduro sled on the market and an indestructible park bike, but at less than100grams lighter than the alloy version it was hard for some to justify. The Patrol is perfect… Threaded BB, Internal front and external rear routing, optimum geometry and tyre clearance. Some might argue that the shock is the weak point but who keeps a standard shock anyway? I bought the 2016 Bronson CC a few months but only because I couldn't wait until Spring for a new ride. Patrol frame now pre-ordered…can't wait!
TRANSITION = This year we made a carbon Enduro because we still don't have any of our own ideas or the money to pay someone who does. AND also, to compound the fact that we have no new idea's we thought we'd continue to make fun of other companies that do have new ideas...
ey Transition bikes - if you are so keeping it real, by making funky advertising, why did you make "yet another 650B carbon trail bike"? And you even present it with ENVE wheelset, how cliche! Clicheee - E! - EEEE! You use carbon and you make symmetric stays, it is laughable. Congratulations you made another session looking bike:
S-E-S-S-I-O-N! an S and E and S another S and Oh and NNNNNNNN-nadaaaaa!
So... You see... You thought that you are going to satisfy Pinkbike audience with this joking aye? Team Robot sprinkled with a bit of Matt Denison. Let me get this straight: Do You have ANY idea who are you dealing with? Do you know what do we shout to N1no Shurter arriving to the top of a hammering climb, when he has over ONE minute of advantage over the rest of the field? - TRY HARDER!!!
that is why your such an "avid" troll on pb, you have no where to stick your opinions. by a crappy car and leave it in your driveway, you can still put stickers on it.
Commercial made for kiddies who giggle at t.i.t.s., whereas the bike is affordable only to high-income adults (and their kid who giggle at t.i.t.s). I don't see that many people around "oh that commercial was funny here's 3500$ for a frame".
Transition bikes = more addictive then Heroin
My favourite bikes I have ever owned ~ Giddy up n go ride yeeeeweeee !
