Steerer is 197mm 1" 1.8th
Some rubbing on the lower LHS stanchion and a few chips on both legs but doesn't affect performance or operation in anyway.

Bonding provided it is not placed under a peel loading is typically more uniform and stronger than most welding and mechanical fixing methods.
