@mikekazimer: I agree on this, your testers shred and honestly I don't care what the average rider has to say about it because they don't have the experience to judge whats good and what doesnt at speed, it was nice seeing the bikes being punished on the trails I raced on earlier this year. I dont know if I agree that 64.5 deg head angle isnt slack enough, I've ridden the specialized and the transition patrol and I didn't like them that much. I've had the front end push too much in corners at those extremes. Maybe its down the bike setup, idk.

Well my experience on the 27.5 version of this bike was nothing short of epic, I did my longest ride of my life 10,000 feet of vertical climbing in one day over 13 hours, and I also raced DH successfully on it. I would also do my regular 30 mile trail ride a few times a week and took it to the whistler bike park for a month. To me the 27.5 version of this bike nailed everything I was looking for in racing and was still a blast to take on the sketchy tech climbs of the north shore. It will be interesting to see what the next version of this bike rides like. I cant imagine it being as different as this article suggests but the first rides will tell.

Dude, it’s been such a good season for the east coasters, and there was no better way than to end it off with one of the best sessions I’ve been a part of. Thanks for the good times and congrats!

Nah thats where u messed up, this zone is unbelievable, on par with areas in revelstoke and whistler. Most importantly the insane crew of riders who work in this area maintain the trails fresh. Its the best riding in the east coast hands down.
