Review: Canyon's New 2021 Spectral 29 CF 8.0
@styleguide: With bikes in such shortage you'll be paying list price for sure. Hard to negotiate when demand exceeds supply. That being said, my LBS did throw me some serious discounts on extra's when I bought my Orbea Rallon a few months ago and I have free life time tuneups.

Jan 22, 2020Salsa Vaya 2, 58cm full including racks and paniers
$1600 USD2013 Salsa Vaya 2 touring bike for sale. White frame with blue anodized bits and handlebar tape. Size is 58cm with SRAM Apex shifters, Avid BB 7 mechanical disk brakes and SRAM X-9 derailleurs. Originally purchased for a trans continental tour that was never taken. I changed over the original crank set to a SRAM X-5 from the Apex that came on the bike to give a better ratio of gears. Toured once around Lake Champlain for 200 miles. Less than 500 miles on the bike total. Included in the price are 4 Ortlieb water proof roll top panier bags, Tubus rear rack and Salsa front rack and Lezene pump, SKS fenders as well as aluminum water bottle cages and Conti touring plus tires. I will throw in the original tires as well and and the original Apex extra crank set. This bike is immaculate and just collecting dust in my office space. It deserves to be ridden. Selling to fund a new mountain bike. This is a turn key touring set up. Good for someone 5'11" to 6"3"
Selling everything as set. I won't sell the racks or the bags separately so don't ask. $1600.00.

Bontrager Line Pro 30 - Carbon Wheels You Might Actually Be Able to Afford
@FullLotus: I love my LB wheels. Built them on the DT Swiss 350 hubs that came with my Bronson C. I have bee n beating on them for 2 full seasons and they have never given me a problem. Customer service was great when ordering them.

Are you Concerned About the Demise of Bike Shops? - Pinkbike Poll
@Axxe: I have a pretty good kit of tools and do most maintenance on my bike but again, for something that I do extremely rarely or takes way too much time I am relying on my LBS.

Are you Concerned About the Demise of Bike Shops? - Pinkbike Poll
@dimitree: I can fix a lot of things on my bike but do I really want to buy a headset tool or other specialized tools I may use only a few times? There are certain things I'd rather leave to a shop to repair. Besides, what do you do if you need a part that you don't have and your ride is in a couple of hours? When riding in Pisgah 2 years ago my Reverb post decided to die on me at the beginning of a ride, luckily I was in front of the Hub Cyclery and was able to get a Reynolds carbon post to hold me over. Vacation saved. Shops serve a purpose.
