I have here an 'as new' pair of Giro Empire VR90 mtb shoes in size 42.5. I say as new, because they have been tried on and worn inside the house only. They have never had cleats mounted, nor has the vibram outsole seen a hint of dirt (Other than what's on my carpets... hey, I'm lazy when it comes to vacuuming, get over it). They will come with the Giro insoles, including all of the 'fit kit' inserts, and the black laces (if you're not a fan of the super bad ass blaze orange strings). They will NOT come with a Giro box or shoe bag. Why am i selling you ask? Well, I already have a pair of older Giro Codes that have taken me on some amazing trails. They're getting a bit old and long in the tooth, so I thought I would try these snazzy sneakers to replace them. I purchased the same size as my Codes (the aforementioned 42.5), only to find, to my utter dismay, that they are a bit smaller (touch narrower AND shorter). Keep this in mind if you've never tried this style on. I will NOT accept returns because you don't know what size shoes you wear. Learn from my mistake, or buy the same shoes from you LBS or an online retailer that will allow you to return them if they don't fit (albeit for much more $ - $299 retail!). There you have it. Race Face Turbine for 35mm bars. Stem is 60mm and +/- 6. Some loss of paint on top/bottom of clamp which will be hidden when installed (as seen in photos). Otherwise like new! Shipping to lower 48 included. Will ship to Canada and outliers for a bit extra.

After building it up and putting about 50 miles on it, it's painfully obvious that it's just too darn big for me (It was sold to me as a 51cm, while it's actually a 54cm). Nothing that concerned me at all, and no rust. A couple very minor dings on the TT that I noticed after cleaning itnup a bit... too small to photograph clearly. The components are all in great condition, w very minor wear marks from usage. The right shifter is getting soft however, and could probably use a rebuild, though it still functions fine. Chain, cassette, cables, BB, HS, and tires all only have 50 miles on them. The Wheelset is almost new, without any noticeable wear on the braketracks. Price; I would prefer to sell complete, but I'm really not sure what this thing is worth, as there aren't many of them that come up for sale.
