100%. No substitute for conditioning. The coaches at my gym are always trying to tell me how much of a better rider I'll become a result of lifting. I enjoy weights, but staying off my brakes will yield much more improvement than dead lifts and cleans!

Yeah ive been doing weight training like this for 18 months, 4-5 days a week, and while I'm sure its helped my strength and endurance, the biggest thing I notice is when I have a break from riding, my endurance drops dramatically...
