Although we are hoping to get some fall rides and even some snowy riding days, the main part of the season is coming to an end. Starting the year with a first place at The Masters Of The Unicorniverse in Kamloops, B.C. was a huge confidence booster, not to mention a chance to ride some of the sick trails there. Then at the Silver Star Gravity Cup, I placed 3rd. Being that I am ten, I was a pre-runner for these races. In Whistler, Crankworx hosted Kidworx events for ten to twelve year old kids. In the A-Line Air DH Invitational, I placed 5th and in the B-Line race, I was 6th.
I had a few goals to meet this year: One was Suicide No-Handers which I checked off the list! Second was hitting Crabapple Hits. I didn't check this goal off my list because my parents wouldn't let me! They say I am too small. The final goal was getting my whips farther and bringing them back. I checked that one off, no problem! Now I can begin setting some goals for next year: Crabapple Hits (Still), Goats Gully (Actually riding trail speed, not just getting down!), and Ride Don't Slide! These goals will improve my technical riding, control and speed and simply be FUN!
Thanks for the great season!!
Great riding, wish you the best and a lot of fun
