Fall 2016 was pretty hectic both for myself and Alberta this year. Whether it was the combination of snow and trail vandalism in early October that looked like it would put our jumps out of commission until the spring, or the fact that I moved to Edmonton to continue my degree at the University of Alberta, things seemed happen a lot faster than in previous years. Either way, I'm happy to say we managed to document some of the riding I got in this fall. In the end I took a crash that cemented the end of my riding season as result of a radial fracture and a dislocated elbow.

For article

I would like to take this time to thank the local bike shop, Mud, Sweat and Gears, for keeping these jumps a reality this year, covering the costs of tools, supplies and insurance would have been a financial stretch for the locals without the shops donations, discounts and fundraising opportunities. If you need anything bike related in Red Deer be sure to check them out! Also would like to give a shout out to Mason Rice for the editing, Matt Houston and Mason Rice for filming, along with Taelyn Carlson, Rylan Salmon and Ryan Cole for additional clips.

 What trail vandalism?

 People stealing our tools, spray painting lips and carpets, cutting and breaking our chairs, rolling our spool tables over the jumps, pick axing dirt and wood lips.

 @ratherberidin:

Bunch of savages. At least it is not anti bike zealots.

 Yeah, sounds like a bunch of bored kids with nothing better to do but wreck things. Still pretty lame but what @Ducimus says...

 @Ducimus: previous years people have hidden large rocks under carpets of our main jumps and even broken glass and put nails in dips
