When I was younger I used to burn ants with a magnifying glass, but now that I'm older, I'm more of a cat guy

Tech Week 2023: Bikepacking Gear of All Shapes & Sizes
i've done multiple bikepacking races and go on a rigid fatbike, nothing on my back, everything on the bike. when loaded up with food and 7L of water for multiple days the bike can weigh up to 85lbs. yeah it's not ideal riding technical terrain, but nothing is when you've got all your supplies with you. There's no way i'd be able to do 20+ hour days in the saddle if i had a fat loaded backpack on the whole time. Using a bags on the frame, handlebar, and saddle makes the most sense and there's a reason everyone does it this way.

People can do 8’ drops on pretty much no sleep, but pushing 300+ watts for hours on end at a world championship is gonna require good sleep believe it or not.

Orbea Occam H30 Aluminum Size M 29er

$1900 USD
selling my fiancee's Orbea Occam H30 from last year. Probably 300 miles on it total and ridden lightly, nothing more than a blue trail and pretty much never seen any air-time. Suspension serviced in June 2022. Only minor issue is the shifter bolt kept coming out making the shifter move when trying to shift. Applied locktite but it still wouldn't hold, so we ended up ziptie-ing it around the end of the brake lever and it holds in place without moving so shifting is not impacted (photo #5) Only way to fix it would be to purchase a new shifter (if you really wanted) and i've subtracted that from the bike's worth. Text me if you have any questions. Thanks!
