Have you ever noticed how long the lists of people are in the end credits of a movie? Even a short film can have hundreds of names... it's hard to wrap your mind around all those individual contributions. But that's what it takes. There wouldn't be movies without small armies working behind the scenes trying to bring them into being.

When Anthill and Trek's C3 riders traveled across the world to Queenstown New Zealand to shoot NotBad, it was the promise of world class all-mountain and DH trails, all-time dirt jumps and the open canvas of the Frew Farm that drew us there. Trying to film an entire 30-minute movie in less than a month with all the riders under one roof was not going to be easy. And we needed a huge diversity of terrain at our doorstep.

New Zealand is one of the most beautiful places in the world. But mountains are just mountains until people come together and shape them into a premiere riding destination. And so while the terrain in Queenstown was amazing, it was the people who made this whole movie truly come to life. There were literally hundreds of people on the ground in New Zealand who helped us along the way. They gave us their knowledge, their time, their sweat and even their food. They were our small army behind the scenes and we couldn't have made this movie without them. Thanks NZ!

I personally loved the vibe of this movie more than anything. it was short and all that, but the vibe was unlike anything else in any other bike movie I've seen. NWD and stuff make me want to go ride and hit some phat drops don't get me wrong, but this movie makes me want to go grab some friends and have a good time just hanging out, being goofy, and riding bikes. Thanks Anthill and the Trek Crew. Would love to see this feel in other, longer videos with more than just the trek team. (I hear the Sensus crew: Zink, Strait, Lacondegey, Sorge, Agassiz can party pretty hard).

 What about Seasons?

I know what he means, the vibe really reminds me of when I was young and we had a large group of friends hanging out and just riding anything we could.. Seasons is fantastic and gives a similar vibe feeling in some sections, namely the last one at the seasons end in Whistler, also to the same extent Fallow Me does.. But NotBad just really grabs that feeling by the balls.

"Grabs the feeling by the balls" couldn't have said it better myself Smile
But ya I totally agree with you guys the vibe of the film was sick, just wish it had been a little longer

Yeah, I wish it was longer, but in an attempt to vicariously live through all these pro's living my dream, I need it to never end!

It's good to see riders of that caliber riding in this neck of the woods, and obviously enjoying themselves. Great country to ride in (although I'm a bit biased really).

For years Queenstown riders waited for a change of management at Skyline to open the gondola access to mountain bikes, meanwhile Coronet shut down gondola access to Coronet dh track.... finally Skyline had a change of heart and opened its gondola up and money was put in to developing heaps of new trails on the hill and now look! Queenstown riding is being advertised all over the world and the investment has definitely paid off! Hopefully Coronet will re-open too and Queenstown will be a major global contender for The mtb mecca status. It really is such an amazing place!

Queenstown/Coronet better get a move on then, Christchurch is set to have a year round lift accessed park by November 2015

Sounds sweet, Christchurch needs something going for it after all the earthquakes, Dunedin is still one of my favourite places to ride ever. The only sad thing about lift access is people forget the many far better trails nearby, Queenstown has dirtpark, remarks, 7mile, sticky forest, wynyard, fernhill, zoot and a few other trails around coronet and skippers that are amazing but now getting less used.

Living 500 metres from the new mtb park I'm looking forward to 2015, they'll have do something special to beat trips to Rotorua though!

That 360 degree helmet cam is awesome. Blew my mind when I saw the segment in Not Bad using it and how they accomplished it.
