How do Stevie Smith and Brendan Fairclough cover every possible angle of a trail? A remote control car, little green men, a rocket launcher, and cameras lining the trail from top to bottom are a good place to start.
Everyone is so scared on N Korea. From what I hear their rockets are very pathetically small. I mean tiny baby sized rockets if you catch my drift. Thats why all the Korean chicks love Americans! Either way the Interview will be leaked online in the next week and now billions of people actually want to see it.
Right, i was like sick vid. All you need is 60 cams.
Or lets see, carry the one... plus three... over seven, FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS in Sony Action Cam's to make this vid.
Red bull take note ! ......get your fingers out and give us some good coverage of the bike comps ... you've got plenty of cash as you certainly don't give it out in prize money !
I still think the GoPro provides better quality footage compared to Garmin, Sony, Contour, etc. When will everyone else step up their game. It's not like Sony are new to the camera market
Guys could you please post these nice clips on PB's sever? We are not as cruel as North Korea (now), but we still cannot connect to Youtube. I have to use a proxy to watch this. Pain in the ass really.
That trail looked awesome. Anyone who gets to ride that on the regs should be giving out money. The best part was the parachute soldier legs hahaha great vid rad riding. Loved it.
Oh man I wish we had something like that up in the north east. I mean we have highlands manicured stuff which is a blast and killington and mr snow for some gnar but something about that trail spoke to me in a way that made me wanna grab my rig and go ride in 20 degree temps. I hate winter.
Brendog is my favourite rider at the moment. And it is freaking awesome to see Stevie Smith shredding again. Next season should be amazing. Not that this past season wasn't, but it definitely missed Stevie. Ratboy is amazing, but an on form Stevie Smith will make him earn every single point. Cannot wait. And very frustrated that I have to.
Such a unique and fun video. Funny that all the gimmicky shots (I.e. Rocket, RC car, arrow) didn't actually produce in usable footage of the riding, but were an entertaining inclusion for the story of the video.
That Live Vew Remote Watch is pretty unique + GPS, + SteadyShot Stabilizer, + Zeiss Lens, + IPX4-class splash proof rating (without a case) and nearly 1.5x the battery life of the GoPro... I don't think GoPro needs to be worried about their market share (quite yet) but for those that don't want to drink the GP Kool-Aid it gives them another option. Sony has to redirect their Camcorder R&D dollars somewhere... makes you wonder what they are working on for their next gen.
Well the idea is great, the riding is great but the quality is still shit isnt it? Im not a fan of these cams in general, they are nice for the average rider or as on board cams but I much prefer videos shot with nice equipment.
If that was 'true' then it was pretty awesome. If it wasn't then the riding was still awesome. I'm not sure about getting usable footage from a camera attached to a speeding arrow. Anyway, what do I know, still loved it!
Does anyone know if that gps thing ( where it shows ya speed and track lay out on the bottom of the screen) is a standard feature of the Sony action cam or was edited in ?
What a great idea, a helmet mounted POV camera. OH WAIT, theres already on made, The GoPro. Wheres your 30fps 4k at then sony. Other than that its good
perfectdirtbro, Glad you noticed, yes, that is a sneak peek release of one of the new 2015 SPRINT colorways, entire collection goes for sale in Feb. More colors and styles than 2014.
Looks very So Cal. From the mountain ranges in the back ground and soil, rock, bush terrain I'm going with Idy area?
That was for sure shot in the last couple weeks because that dirt is moist looking and we more less got our first major rain for this year these past few weeks. We actually have hero dirt in So Cal right now, time to go ride!
It's up in Idyllwild. Trail goes all the way down to hemet. 6000' decent. The section they were on is called Project X. Bottom section is Hellraiser but is not in this video. Gwin did a video on the same trail.

then 19 days of editing and good to go.
