Not any different with DH. Except you actually have to qualify for those races.

HT T1 Pedals - Review
I really liked my HT's the issue was that I blew 4 pairs up in a summer. By blew up I mean the pedal body would still me stuck to my shoe and the spindle would still be stuck to my crank. But the two were very much so not together. If I got more then 1-2 months of use before they died I'd be happy. I had one pair on my trail bike and one on my dh bike so it's not like one was getting excessive miles. But they both died repeatitively

C├ędric Gracia's Santa Cruz Hightower Bike Setup - Video
I'm seriously impressed with a set that came on my trail bike.. 180mm rotors on the entry level brake (composite lever) lots of power, decent heat dissipation and long pad life. Similar feel to shimano brakes which at the end of the day is why I prefer my guides on my other rigs. Still good brakes!

Norco Optic 9.3 w/Pike RCT3, SixC Bar, Turbine Dropper

$3800 CAD
2017 Optic 9.3 bought as a first release of the 2017 run just a couple of months ago. Selling to make room in the stable for a new Norco Range.. This bike has been an exceptional trail bike, for long adventure days it makes short work of climbs. The drive train is SRAM's GX 11-42 cassette and a steel X sync 30T front chain ring with 175mm cranks. Descending with this bike is a treat, the 130mm Pike (10mm over what the bike is suggested to come with) puts the bike in a relatively slack (estimated) 67.5 degrees (Similar to Yeti's SB4.5 and slacker then Devinci's Django 29er) The short but capable 110mm of rear travel is quite progressive, rewarding pumping the backside of rollers and landings with tons of speed. The Fox Float DPS Performance EVOL shock with 3 modes similar to CTD provides a nearly rigid platform in the first setting, ideal for road climbs. The second a firm pedalling platform that I used for any uphill on a trail for efficiency but not sacrificing rear wheel traction. And finally fully open, which gave the short travel great small bump without blowing through the travel on mid sized hits. The Magura brakes have a very similar feeling to Shimano brakes, they also use mineral oil. I will include a spare set of pads and rotor with the bike (lots of power and have never had issues with fade) Overview: -Optic Trail frame 110mm travel est. 67.5' H.A. -Rockshox Pike RCT3 130mm Fork with Custom Factory colour matched graphics -Rear Shock Fox Float DPS Performane EVOL 3 position Components -Race Face Turbine Post 125mm length with Turbine 1x Thumb remote. -SDG Circuit Mtn with steel rails -Headset,Cane Creek 40 Series (upgraded over the stock 10 series) w/carbon spacers. -Race Face Atlas 35mm Clamp 35mm Length Stem -Race Face SixC 35mm Clamp 35mm Rise 752mm wide Bar -Race Face Sniper Slide on Grip Sram MTH 716 Front 15x100mm and Rear Sram MTH 746 148x12mm XD driver DT RWS Eco ratchet w/Maxle thread Rims Alex DP 23 29 I23 tubeless ready -Tubes Stans No Tubes Valves, Stans Sealent and Stans Rim Tape Tires Schwalbe Magic Mary 29x2.35 Snake Skin Front, Nobby Nic 29x2.35 Snake Skin Rear Drivetrain Sram GX1 11sp Front Derailleur (mount for front der included w/bike)Rear DerailleurSram GX 1 SRAM Cassette XG 1150 10-42TSram FC S-1000 30T Sram Pressfit BB 92 Sram PC 1130 11sp Brakes Magura MT2 hydraulic brake w/180mm rotor F/R Can take additional pics upon request.
