Jill Kintner was thankfully happy to oblige when the photographer is yelling berm-shot

Registration for the 2014 Ashland Mountain Challenge will open at 8am on March 1st. This year's event will again be an Enduro format. With over 7,000' of Descent to race on and approximately 4,500' of climbing for the Pro's and Cat 1's, 2,700 for Cat 2s &3's, this will be a full day on the bike! Mt. Ashland is known for some of the finest single track in the Northwest. It is also home to the Shakespeare Festival, has an incredible downtown, and 2 Breweries to visit while you're here.

Jill Kintner made the trip to Southern Oregon after being in Europe racing World Cup Downhill and placed 2nd. Not bad for racing some trails blind I got off the plane a couple days ago from Italy had one day home and drove down here last night and didn t practice at all and didn t really know what s going on and then raced the trail blind... I had a really good time

We limit the number of racers to 300, so get registered and get to training! This race is one of a kind with awesome sponsors such as Title Sponsor, X Fusion Suspension. Pro cash payout of $3,000 and $25,000 in prizing!

Register for the 2014 Ashland Mountain Challenge here.

I did my master's degree in Ashland the past 3 summers and was annoyed by all the MTBers flaunting their gear right in front of me while I was stuck inside studying. How selfish... Finally got to use my one off day last summer to do a shuttle with these fine people. A seriously awesome place to ride...

I went down Time Warp with Bill last summer. The video above prompted us to ask him to show us around. He's a great guide. Took us all over the mountain. I highly recommend it if you go to Ashland. Some sweet trails up there.

One of my favorite races of the year, the trails are awesome and Bill and Sue do a great job of running one of the smoothest races I've ever competed in. Looking forward to it !!!

For victory we'll fight and for victory we'll die We march into battle and there's thunder in the sky Our enemies retreat, filled with madness in their eyes They fall by our steel and they run for their lives!!!
