Every year most of the UK based pro riders try and escape the cold, wet weather and get abroad for some riding and training. Brendog is no different as he headed out to Ride Portugal for a week's riding, filming and training at the start of 2015. As you can see in the video the tracks are amazing, weather was great and those are two big things that it has over UK riding...

Now we wait for the edit in which he does it mid trail...
Now for all of you peopleo understand what I'm saying
- Finally, someone that uses our woods properly! F*ck yeah!
I forgot Indian food and culture, We're currently getting a HUGE influx of them in San Diego (california) but this mix of culture, food and people and great weather is to be said for all of California.
SAID NO ONE EVER.
What a load of rubbish, we have some of the best tracks in the world in the UK, Scotland is epic, much more to it than just the Fort Bill you see on the UCI calender, wales is a haven of DH spots again, so much more than revo, antur and BPW and in England whilst we don't have the length and overall height wharncliffe is some of the steepest most tech DH you can ride, hamsterley is ace, forest of dean is flat out DH fun.
Trust me, the UK is full of amazing tracks and Portugal has nothing on us
In terms of steepness and required technical ability, Portuguese tracks are not as far away from the ones in the UK as you're thinking...There is a reason why so many world cup riders come to Portugal to train in the off-season...
P.S. Brendan is rad and so are UK tracks.
come here man... gimme a hug
Awesome video!
