Fox Patent Shows Automatically Decoupling Hub & Disengaging Derailleur
@hamncheez: Hi, I rode both Pinion and Rohloff for thousands of kilometres on my handbikes and despite I pedal with my hands with like one third of a leg power I do not feel any extra drag. It feels only a bit mushy. I will never go back to normal derailleurs :)

First Look: Starling Cycles Adds Adjustability & Tweaks Geometry
@Wamprat: Sorry, I accidentally downvoted you. You are right, it seems like regressive leverage curve. Front shock eye should be mounted lower to achieve at least some small progression...

Starling's New 170mm 29er With a Gearbox - Bespoked Show 2019
@duir: @:mgolder Hey guys, me and my riding group are riding steel frames only for last ten years. We cracked and snapped a lot of these, both Taiwanese production and garage made ones, HTs or full sus. If somebody give me this bike I'm perfectly sure that I will return it in pieces in one year or so :) Whole industry has designers with career in engineering yet frames breaks all the time - you don't need theory but years and years of framebuilding to make a realiable product.

Starling's New 170mm 29er With a Gearbox - Bespoked Show 2019
I'm a big fan of gearboxes and steel but am I only one who sees Starling bikes much overhyped. Details are amateurish, brazing is not clean (compare it to Curtis few posts down for example), important struts and gussets are missing, degressive shock curve with coil shock... For garage project it would be incredibly cool but for 2000 pounds?

In Europe you can buy Decathlon front fender for like 3€. Looks like most of the above and works perfectly.

Rider Killed by Cougar in Washington State
Condolences to cougar and family. To kill the big cat in defence is ok. But to track it and kill it hours after the incident in some kind of revenge? Any reason for that? Minus me!

Journey Back in Time With Hoshi Yoshida's 'No EXIF #5' Photos
Amazing nostalgia! I tried to took some MTB action pics on film last summer and from like 90 shots only two were sharp:D But it was at least very "artistic" set of blury BW photos...
