Video: Trail Ninja - Finale Ligure (Italy)
thanks PB for fueling the stoke once again! the lady and I are heading to finale in a couple hours to hit the trails over the easter weekend, so this is perfect timing! Although that dude needs to pack some fresh italian pastries and panini, instead of the monkeybar energy whatnot... just sayin.

South Tyrol 2012: Mountain Biking the Dolomites & Italian Alps – Bruneck & the Kronplatz: 1 of 4
stoked to see this article and waiting for the other 3 parts! I was in the kronplatz last summer, but did easier trails--being as we were on hardtails. This year the girl and i wanna head back with enduro bikes, and this post is a great starting point for the planning. grazie!

Fat Bike? Seriously?
the next article on this should be a guest-written "counterpoint" from the guys at surly. it will be funny as hell, enlightening, and quite possibly informative. For the record, the 2013 Pug retails for 1900 dollars, complete. I think a lot of people get it with fat-bikes, but a lot of people are just throwing their money around. I mean, go ride a bike in the snow, ice, mud, sand, salt, etc. It will get the living crap beat out of it. I will agree with the author that 3000 dollar titanium fatbikes are stupid, but the idea of a simple tool designed to address a specific problem--that is 100% radness. Props to PB for posting more than just the mainstream reviews and opinions, though... this was a great article to read.

First Look: Troy Lee Designs A1 Helmet
word. living here in europe and really trying to get the cash together for all the shit needed to run the superenduro series. a full face is mandatory... and i think that is a good thing! i have tried on and done a demo dayon a Urge Archi-Enduro... Yes you can breathe when maxing it out on a pedally-section. No, it wont really do shit if things get pear-shaped at high-speed. take a look: http://forums.mtbr.com/utah/crash-report-urge-archi-enduro-helmet-795542.html Not saying this is typical or anything, probably a freak accident... but it sure will make me put a REAL full-face on when its go-time.

word to the old D2 open face. i had one and it was sweet for superD races and DJ. also, i used it on the moto around town. Sold it to make a couple bucks, and totally regret it now.

Super rad to see TLD getting into the Enduro helmet market. Question for RC--you say you had on the med/lg, but for reference what size do you normally run in a Giro, Bell or Urge helmet? This way some of the rest of us can get a feel for the sizing...
