I agree fully, but I'm a professional colorer and not a president or vice or Vice President of a company

Im not adept at fundraising for for trail stewardship, my guess is you'd need to reach out to some of the better organized trail groups for insight. I just helped kids get bikes for the holidays. I knew they were trail bikes and mentioned it in my first reply direct to you. You proceeded to go on about how they werent.

"Is BS. are you really claiming that they can only get girls comfort bikes, & boys BMX bikes. that there's some huge price gulf for a BMX bike painted in girls colors rather than boys, or likewise in comfort bikes? that's just silly." Only the 2 youngest girls got comfort bikes, as they were 6/7 years old. both bikes had coaster brakes and neither kid could ride a bike very well. insight.

um because there was a) pricepoint, and b) only so many available options in the short time frame to put this together 2 weeks before christmas and based off kids ages only so many options available. Again, next year get involved. Talk to Karl about doing one locally. I think one of the things you aren't taking into account is that this is as much as opportunity to provide kids bikes for the holidays as it is to give bigs and littles more opportunity to get out and do things together.

"why don't they get the opportunity ride something that leads more to the sport we all love" remind me again how having a BIKE doesnt lead to what we all love. comfort, road, bmx. whatever it is. The important thing is to get kids the ability to get out. What path they take is up to them.

How is it inequality exactly? Does every girl on a bike long to ride mountain bikes? first off the small girls bikes are comforts the others are trail-ish bikes. So essentially your mad that two 8 year olds didnt get BMX bikes. Not everyone wants one. Also not every thought you have needs to be posted online in the story. You feel like some great injustice has been done. Reach out to pinkbike. Why do you need to bang away on a keyboard about how these girls lives were pushed in the wrong direction.
