The Bike's Story:
What's better than staring at sexy dh bikes on the internet? Staring at them in real life in your living room! I built this bike in my living room and it has sat there ever since as a showpiece. I wanted to have the worlds' fastest dh bike in my living room so I went ahead and made it happen. This bike was built with love and care. Every part was choosen carefully and is in showroom condition. Some parts are lightly used but these parts show little if any sign of use. If you are looking for a new dh bike, you should definitely consider this one. You have no idea how careful every nut and bolt was tightened. I took my sweet a** time installing everything perfectly.
FRAME: 2013 Specialized S-Works carbon Demo 8. Size medium. I bought it off the original owner. The original owner was a newbie. He never rode dh before this frame and the 2013 season was his first. He rode this frame 10 times on non knarly trails and realized that he was going to sick with his hardtail. The frame is absolutley mint! Still has the new shiny coat. Oh and this guy only weighed 140 lbs and is 40 years old. There is no way that this guy could damage this frame even of he wanted to. He paid $4500 CAD just for the frame alone. I paid a little less then this off of him and I have never ridden it at all.

HANDLEBAR: Used but in great shape ENVE carbon dh. Cut to 730mm. MSRP of $180. If this bar is too short for your liking, you can have a brand new in package Raceface SIXC carbon dh 785mm bar instead.

There you have it. A dream $12000 bike pretty much new for only $7000. If you are a crazy person like myself and you are wanting a top of the line bike, dont pay full MSRP on a new bike. A bike shop building you a simalar bike would most likely cut you a deal but you are still looking at around $11000 with tax. Buy this bike and save some cash. Please check out my buysell history as you will see that I build custom bikes for fun and not for the money. This is a hobby of mine. Everything I sell is priced cheaper than others online. I couldn't really use any other bikes as a guide for pricing except for another Enved carbon dh bike most likely not as new as mine for $8000. I undercut that guy by $1000. $7000 for this bike is very fair.
I will ship but shipping and paypal fee is on you.
My passion is biking just like it is for most of you guys. Riding for me is a way of getting away. It's too bad life has gotten the best of me and I am now working all the time. When I am not working, I am spending time with my family. I miss biking all the time but that's just the way it goes I guess. As life got busier and busier, I found myself riding less and less. This killed me so I had to do something about it. What I did was turn to building custom high end bikes. If I couldnt ride them, then why not tinker with them throughout my day. One thing led to the next and before you knew it, I was building bikes in my living room. This is awesome because I get to see my bikes all the time! Ever since I was little, I would stare at dream bikes whether it be in magazines or on the internet. Now I have the luxury of staring at my dream bikes in real life while sitting in my living room snacking and watching TV. So what I have done for myself was create a hobby of building up my dream bikes inside my house. I source new/used highend frames and compenents that are in showroom condition and build up amazing dream bikes during my spare time for myself and friends to look at. Parts I purchase are usually new because it ends up sitting inside my house. This has been going on for a little while now and has led me to building up this dream S-Works Demo 8. This Showroom Demo 8 currently sits there in my living room and is used as a stress reliever for days when work and life get to me. I have spent a good few months looking at it so it's time to move onto the next project and to let it go to someone that will appreciate it and enjoy it. I ride maybe 5-10 times a summer so I cant justify keeping it. For 2014, my riding bike is a cheaper spec'd bike. I dont ride enough to deserve such a nice bike.
Thank you for your time. If you have any questions, please feel free to msg me. Honestly, I can't wait to pass this bike onto someone that will ride it like it was meant to be ridden. I promise that the person that ends up buying this bike will be one happy camper.
