I think I'm the opposite I've cracked 3 carbon frames in 8 riding months and finally cracked my alloy frame after 10 years of 8 months a year of daily use.

@zion-i: I think I know what your talking about. Using the same size square edge bump the 29 inch wheel would contact it more towards the top of the bump compared to a 26 inch wheel. Because the bump is being contacted at a higher point it should need less travel to roll over. This allows for more high speed damping, while still maintaining the same feeling to the rider.

Suspension will react differently because the axle is higher so absorbing square edge bumps will be tuned differently.

GoPro Contest of the World - August Winner Announced
The only video in this line up that seemed to make a go pro look like a decent camera was the one riding down the dam. Every other video got blurry, extremely grainy or had horrible wind noise.
Also how many of us would have thought about riding a several thousand dollar downhill bike down a dam into water? I do think that was pretty creative.

Opinion: The Painless Tattoo
The point of that super car is the pure joy of the experience of a super car. Being thrown back into the seat with the beautiful sound of a hand built, finely tuned v8 screaming is the super car experience. There is just a different experience of a super car then a normal car. Just the same as the experience between a department store bike and a full carbon pro level bike is different.
