Bernardo Cruz has won the 2013 Official Whip-Off World Championships here at Crankworx 2013.

Others to make the final round in no particular order were Thomas Vanderham, Kurt Sorge and Bas Van Steenbergen.

 Just got back from the village after watching the event on the mountain and can honestly say that the brazillians whip was bigger and probably more stylish than 99% of them. And he was consistently dropping the same huge whips every time. Crazy crazy crazy shit too see in real life, stood right on the bunting on the main jump!!! Ridiculous!! Also special mention should go to Kelly Macgarry who at shit over the bars, stood up and claimed it for every cent it was worth. Massive props!!!

 You'd have to run cables to Crabapple Hits which has no other use during Crankworx and the actual whip off contest is pretty quick (likely not worth it). I do think they need more mid-mountain coverage in future years though....

 They have no space to land! I'm stunned that no one has gotten hurt by someone flying off a monster tabletop and not landing dead center in the trail. But those whips are amazing.
