I'm surprised the real photos of Sam Reynolds' superman over the canyon gap didn't make the cut.

It probably wasn't up long enough to garner the number of views needed. Some of these shots are so perfect they don't even look real. Awesome.

They're all up for 24hrs...hence "pic of the day".

On another note...#2 is incredible, barely looks real. It feels like I was there.

I can't believe the most viewed photo on PB last month still had less than 10,000 views. Is PB dying? Is the POD dying? Just seems there is no where near the interest that there was a year or two ago. Instagram garners a ton of attention as well @gavlaa, of which most of these made a POD appearance on PB's insta account

Agreed with @briceshirbach. I will often see the POD on insta and this drives me away from opening it on desktop since I can tell by the thumbnail that I've already seen it.

#1 is probably the best shot I've seen of that particular gap--nailing that exposure is a big photographic challenge. I thought that would be my definite vote until I saw #5. Both are perfect moments mixed with perfect photographic work though.

ctd has the right idea. PB.. where old stuff is put on the front page with the text new and is called innovative and original while the masses eat it up like a shit sandwich. there shold be credit to the original picture series by the photographer. it is plagiarism especially since they most likely claim it is art.

You care wayyy to much about this photo. You're not the first and you won't be the last to take a photo of someone jumping over a train... get over it. They're two completely different gaps.

Eh? You are the one accusing the person who took the Banshee photo of ripping you off in your first post! People have been jumping over trains for 100 years no doubt. No one is ripping anyone off.

yes Scott. pretty much. Im not sure when it became not ok to point something out. Critics have there place. I guess you are just one of those want-to-bes that thinks if you drink enough kool aid and spout enough pro-establishment on PB that maybe you will get sponsored. maybe someone will notice you. your 972 FB friends (in which we have 2 in common and they dont really think much of you) kind of shows the extent of what an attention whore will do to put the spotlight on himself. Your weak ass videos and blogs posts are laughable and I don't there isnt anything in there that anyone else that has been on a bike for a year or two would have any trouble with... . I like to ride, you like to ride and I pointed out a little plagiarism. It doesnt warrant this kind of exchange but if you continue then I guess we can do this. I also notice you are one of those people that make comments to the editor of your local paper and they read pretty similar to this crap that you seem to have wanted to inflict on a stranger who said nothing bad about you.
