I ve taken a ton of photos over the past few months a countless number of which I am extremely proud of yet this photo of Jared Graves out for a training ride in Nevados De Chillan may be the one I would place at the top of the list. Not only is the photo beautiful so much so that you almost don t notice Jared bar dragging through the corner but the entire experience of this location the trail and the time of year is something I will never forget. Chillan at the height of fall with all the vibrant colors popping was simply breathtaking.

Crazy they could find a group of riders to all backflip within 10ths of a second of each other
  • 25 12

I like how 3rd and 4th rider grind each others wheels. So stoked!

They all set the same record.

Even though the tandem picture doesn't look as "fancy" as some of the others, it is by far my favorite picture I've seen on here. Things like that make me proud to ride. I hope I can get to a point in my life where I can help others ride like that.

A picture is one thing, but watching a video of a tandem downhill bike will quickly change your perspective as to what a waste of time riding tandem DH really is,
  • 8 0
Shut up devanish, it might not be really fast , but it's not until you have ridden one of road that you really notice how fun it is ! Seriously give it a try
  • 24 0
@devanish, im not going to neg prop you because you probably dont know the details of this story. The thing is the guy in the back is blind and tandem dh is his only possible way to ride. PS: Ive seen them hit some gnarly shit i wouldnt ever think of hitting with a tandem

Im not buying into this Tandem hype. I like my single 26er and nobody made me change to 275 so I won't change to a tandem. It may offer minir benefits over a single but I think it's just hype. I am waiting for a PC representant to remind me that the guy in the back is blind and I should not be hatin'. Just in case: that was a sarcasm, irony.

I didn't realize that the guy in back was sight impaired. I ride a tandem with my SO all the time, if anyone knows someone in the Bay Area who's in a similar situation and wants to ride some singletrack on the back of a tandem feel free to shoot me a PM.

I need a Fat Bike tandem so I can take your Mom

I'd love to go downhill tandem riding but I'd want to be up front. At least then you have a say in what is going on and aren't along for the ride.
  • 8 0
Id' rather be on the back so you can bail !
  • 16 0
yeah, but if you end up going over the bars, that's twice as far to fall!
  • 2 0
haha good point ! OTB would be damned scary
  • 2 0
But if you hit a tree you have some Cushing in front of you.
  • 1 0
At least up front your have that half second on the guy in back to react. That's when you tuck and roll and let the guy out back figure out how to control a tandem with no pilot!

I'd like a video of that.

 AWESOME! Thanks

The oxygenated Copper colour is just astonishing, but it seems to me the Alpine singletrack shown second, is just more a push the tempo inspiration, to go out and ride even more, and this is what I value the most in photography.

Some mad respect for Jordi Granell and Alfons Bayonas, he's blind and he's faster than you!

Mountain tandeming looks awesome, but very scary. Great shots.

The awesome level goes through the roof when there is a drift involved!!! This awesome level is also directly related to the scary level.
