Commencal Meta HT AM

$1100 USD
2019 Commencal Meta HT AM size Large. Built from the frame up and ridden a few times a year. Fork: Rockshox Pike 150mm- Fully serviced Drivetrain: SRAM XO1 Wheels: Industry Nine Enduro 305 with Torch hubs. Rear rim is rideable but needs some love, currently has Cushcore pro installed. Great condition Maxxis DHF front and rear. Dropper: Rockshox Reverb 170mm, works perfectly Cockpit: SRAM Guide RSC brakes, Tenet 35mm rise carbon bars, 40mm Anvil stem. OneUp multi tool installed in steerer tube. I can include a set of Hope Tech E4 brakes as well for some more money. This has been a very fun and versatile bike, but it only got ridden once this year so it’s time to pass it along to someone who will give it more use.

Whistler Mountain Bike Park Closes Creekside to Prepare for Big Plans Ahead
For real! They just hyped the park for a few paragraphs and never explicitly said if Creekside zone is shut down for the season.

First Look: Saris' New Modular Hitch System Bike Rack
@octet: The Honda Fit is an amazing/cheap/utilitarian car, but it's big downside is the weight capacity. We have a 2" OneupUSA rack which handles our two 35-ish pound bikes just fine. We've done big road trips with a bunch of gear and 2 mtn bikes where the rear end sags a lot, but it's never been an issue. I think there's a good chance that 3 full size mtb's on a tray-style rack would cantilever the rear end of a Fit too much (this style rack sticks out far from the bumper with 3 bikes), but a vertical rack like yours is probably fine. One note about hitch durability-- the center mount for the Fit's receiver is only hanging onto thin sheet metal, but it's mainly there for vertical stability. Our center mount sheared off last year when the rack nailed a steep driveway. I just cut out two rectangles of plate steel to sandwich either side of the car's sheet metal and bolted to that, now it has much more surface area supporting it rather than thin sheet metal. Sorry for the ramble... the car is a freaking awesome mini utility vehicle, but for much more than 2 people + bikes, you probably eventually want something meant to carry more weight.

First Look: Saris' New Modular Hitch System Bike Rack
Our 2nd car is a Honda fit and there are no 2" receivers made for it anywhere. I just bought a 1 1/4" receiver and a 2" hitch extender accessory, brought it to a local welder and he cut out the original and welded in the 2" receiver. It was like $100 and much more robust than anything I could have gotten. I was sick of having the sketchy 1 1/4" setup you had and highly recommend going the custom route!

Fox 36 Performance Elite Grip2 29”

$400 USD
2019 Fox 36 Performance Elite w/ Grip2 damper. 29”/Boost Axle/42mm offset. Currently set at 170mm travel, but I always ran it at 160mm. I can include both air springs or shorten travel if needed. ALWAYS fully serviced at or before suggested intervals, including a full damper/air spring/lower service after it came off my bike. Steer tube is threaded for a Oneup EDC tool and cut to 178mm. The stanchions are in perfect condition with no scratches, the lowers show normal signs of 2 seasons riding with some scuffs and scratches- nothing too bad though.

Granite Design Introduces New Portaledge Tube & Tool Holders
How is this solving anything? Rather than strapping your tube directly to the frame, you can bolt a $16.99 part onto your frame and then strap your tube to that. You are in the exact same place, but $17 poorer and just added weight.
