Glad you were able to get through to that guy, the frame looks great, and I think it's going to be a hit on the market... I really like the idea of the am 29er, and that looks to be very well executed.

15mm all round with a 2.5" tire enough for you?

I think that is the large proto. Aesthetically the L and XL look quite similar tho.

Just the angle of the photo. There is room for a 2.5" tire with space for mud. Those side struts are spaced outside of the tires width.

There is room for a 2.5" tire on this frame... the photos are a bit deceptive, when you see from different angles you will see there is lots of room.

If you see it from a different angle you'll see there is room for a 2.5" tire with room to spare. Thos side struts are spaced outside the tire.

The side struts are wider spaced than the tire... if you saw it from a different angle you'd see that there is lots of room.

17.1-17.3" as it currently stands, could go shorter but the weight distribution wouldn't be quite as good.

There is actuall way more clearance than that photo makes out. You can fit a 2.5" tire with at least 15mm to spare all round.
