On one unusually sunny and warm winter day in the Pacific Northwest, we set out with only the best of intentions to film a marketing video that would hopefully be used for the launch of our new 150mm travel, carbon Uprising trail bike. You know the kind of video - scenic vistas, perfect weather, and a bag of reasons why should buy this bike.

Well... like a hyperactive 13 year old who missed a dose of Ritalin, we too lost focus and completely failed in our mission. So what we are left with is an edit of us chasing around Evil World Cup rider Luke Strobel and wasting our only sunny weekend of winter... hope it was worth it...

 i dont comment a heap here on PB, but that was one of the best videos i have seen.  Yeah I hate seeing someone put their foot out and hammer the brake in a berm, you should be able to keep your feet where they are soposed to be and let the rear tire drift into the berm without stopping wheel from spinning! This guy was shredding proper

 ... he is a World Cup racer. He shreds harder than pretty much everybody, with fewer than a few hands full of exceptions (21 to be specific if we look at the 2012 World Championships).

 how is evil as a company? dose anyone have experience with them as an owner of one of their bikes. the sweet shop i go to where i live dose not like the company after bad customer support a while back after getting a few of the dh bikes from them, is this true or is this just shop bs to sell me some bigger named bike they have sitting around. they say they will get me this bike if i want it and will do what i fully want. should i listen to the shop and pass or follow what i really want.

 i am in the market for a new bike what should i do. i need an aggressive trail bike for those days i have to earn the dh and days my friends say its lift or shuttle time. i am seriously considering this bike or a yeti sb66. my lbs is very good they want me for sure on a new pike fork as for bike they are up in the air they say an enduro but want me to try out a few bikes first. should i buy this evil or try a few bikes out

 I don't think it is. I ride out there once or twice a week and didn't recognize the trails. The trails out there aren't as flowy (aside from the shorter runs at the freeride park) and are more for xc...but that guy could shred just about anything so I could be wrong.

 What kind of fox rear shock is that at 0:32? The CTD lever is weird, it almost looks like a DHX air with CTD.

 Looks like the new enduro shock they're testing. The Talas dial on the 34 is different too, I think they're testing a new talas cartridge and damper specifically for enduro racing, Lars Stenberg has the proto shock too
