I guess not editing 5 scenes together and presenting them as mini edits into themselves does create at sort of narrative within this edit, but i can't help but think it would have been much better off mixing the series together, I mean the way its presented here looks sort of unprofessional and its hard to convey the awesomeness of the lightning shot and metaphor of the guns through the rigidly structured narrative based sequence edits. Seriously would like to see this re-edited as a montage. could probably grab VOD then at least.

I guess this is the funny side of having an activity co-opt by industry, that the idiot monkeys who dance for money look pretty dumb

Lance Armstrong Interview Part 2
The thing is, as much as I hate to say this it isn't about what did off the bike for the world as a whole. I agree there is a strong utilitarian argument to support him, but professionally sanctioned events are done so for a reason. Many events, and MTB is the perfect example aren't large enough to pay for anti-doping at the venue, so they rely on lists from WADA UCI ex of banned riders to have at least a minimal amount of discouragement from doping. I'd argue with the utilitarians out there that bike racing isn't about who was a better overall human being. It's about who is faster on a bike without cheating, and being an awesome guy (or not, its your call) is beside the point if you've cheated.

I'm with you... but I think he is a pretty influential story, and I for one am really conservative in my principal based use of censorship.

Heated Bike Lanes For Year Round Riding?
except its a really bad idea because the only thing worse the commuting on snow is riding on water. A much better and cheaper idea would be plowing the snow in bike lanes, and not into bike lanes.

I realize you someone else at PB went to the liberty of deleting my critique of your video. I just thought I'd post that all over your facebook and PB page because it is really really lame. Cheers.

This was lame. I mean riding is great troy is a beast but the edit offered nothing special. Close ups? slow motion? music? widescreen? DH? standard shot sequences? It is fun to watch don't get me wrong watchigns omeone like troy chred is good for 2:20 i guess. but if you are going to dump time and money into a film production do something original that actually showcases troy as a unique talent rider he is. and starting with a close up of his face, and mashing it up isn't that special or meaningful in anyway. Congratulations you have a computer an expensive camera! keep up the good work troy and maybe find someone who can produce a better edit next time

I'm pretty sure Darren is the closest any non-fictional Human has ever come to being Han Solo.
