Hello, I am selling my beloved 2005 Rocky Mountain Flow F1 that I purchased brand new from a bike shop in Calgary, Alberta back in 2005. I am the original owner of this bike and have been the only primary rider of it. It has seen its fair share of downhill, cross country and dirt jump type terrian in Alberta, Kansas and Ontario. The only reason I am selling it is because it no longer fits me and I recently purchased a mountain bike that is full suspension and my size. The bike has been cared for and has seen several key aftermarket parts 1.) Evolve DH Raceface Forged Cranks 2.) e. Thirteen chain guide 3.) new Kendra Tires Small Block Eights (2.10 inches wide by 24 inches) 4.) new rear braking cable, housing and pads 5.) lizard skin frame protector Some of the stock parts this bike has are the following: 1.) Marzocchi DJ Comp (120 mm of travel) for front suspension 2.) Single speed in the front and eight speed in the rear 3.) Shimano Deore rear dérailleur 4.) Hayes brake levers in front and back (for mechanical disc brakes) 5.) 6 inch rotors in front and rear This is a great beginner mountain bike for youth and would allow them to become hooked on the sport. Or this bike could be used exclusively for dirt jumping or street riding for a young adult rider. This bike has several scratches on the frame, brake levers and various other locations on the bike. There are some issues with the rear dérailleur in that the bike has some issues with changing into the lowest or highest gear (the chain seems to come off entirely). This bike is not perfect in any means but it still rides great and is a pile of fun and is very reliable. I am very willing to negiogiate on price and would love to see this bike get into the hands of someone who would use it and treat it well.
