Russ Bock the winner of the Devinci District 1 at this years AFA's is a generous man! After winning the bike he called us up a few days later and said he wanted to donate the bike to needy kids. We were pretty amazed! The bike is now for sale here at Calgary Cycle. It's regular price is $1300 but it's now going for $1199. The proceeds from the sale of the bike will go towards new bikes for the
Pinkbike Share the Ride program.
We were part of this season's Share the Ride. We gave away 50 Trek kids bikes just before Christmas. It was nothing short of incredible.
Calgary Cycle shares the ride. Thanks Russ! We know there's going to be some really happy kids as a result of your generosity.
are you the kind of guy who buys a book and only reads the title?
...i think you are the one who needs to "get your head out of your ass" beacuse it makes it harder to read...
... at least i see something like : "... just joking ... " ...and ... "really nice job" in my comment
do you really think that i am in serious needs of a bike? ... lol ... i do NOt think so ...
that guy is a legend 2
get out and ride ...
... what the hell is wrong about making a joke????it is NOT a sad story from where someone ended up prejudiciated or something like that!!!... ... this is a happy ending situation and excellent example of charity ... so why can't a person say a joke?...
... do you guys realy think i am in serious needs of a bike? ... lol ...
and by the way, since everybody agrees that it is such a good act, why don't we just donate parts that we do not use no more, send it to a bike shop that donates their service to put everything toguether, sell the bikes as auctions, and donate the money to those kids in need of new toys?
... this is just an idea... and it is not a joke...
think about it
