8th Annual Moab Ho-Down Mountain Bike Festival & MTB Film Fest (October 24, 25, 26 & 27, 2013) - Brought to you by Chile Pepper Bike Shop, Shimano, The North Face, Teva, Marin Bikes & G-Form

The Moab Ho-Down Mountain Bike Festival is 8 years running and this year is shaping up to be the best one yet! Festivities include an Enduro Race on two of Moab’s best trails – Amasa Back and Porcupine Rim, Sombrio Pump track comp, Dirt Jump comp, MTB film fest at Star Hall, group shuttle rides and an outrageous costume party with awesome live music from Funkdafari at Moab’s only local brewery the Moab Brewery.

This year we will also host the Allride Tour with Kirt and Lindsey Voreis as well as an all-ladies ride/clinic with Moab Mountain Bike Instruction’s lead coaches - Wendy Palmer and Lindsey Voreis.

The Moab Ho-Down Festival has great sponsorship from Shimano, The North Face, Teva, Marin Bikes and G-Form with over $10,000 in cash and prizes for competitors. All proceeds from the festival are donated to Moab’s Bike Park!

Registration is all on site? I would really love to do the enduro down Porcupine and Amasa, haha. Plus it seems like one big party, which is always nice.

You can do the whole enchilada enduro...next year. It's already sold out for this year, but here's a link.

There is online registration for the ho down enduro though. Just saw it. You must not have looked hard enough. Smile

Ah I didn't since I saw one of my friends signed up for it! And yeah, the Whole Enchilada enduro I tried signing up for this year but I couldn't get online fast enough. It sold out in 10-20 mins... insane. Next year, for sure! When you get a good pace on Porcupine, it's honestly one of the best trails out there. Tech little puzzles scattered throughout a flowing and semi-xc, slick-rock peppered trail that makes you forget that you're on the edge of a cliff at a few spots.
