Heres a good one when I met my girlfriend she had these guess jeans (They make men clothing too) but anyways I thought they were mine by looks so I slapped em on and i'm like whoops not mine but all I could think is how comfy these jeans were lol! that was in highschool way back but don't knock anything till you try it unless its a 29er or a 650b

 It's been ridden everywhere by pros. And the first time we saw it was in April 2011 - three years. The Ripley only took two, and it started out as an XC bike. If this prototype has been ready for pro circuit use for this long, it's ready for us. Even if we we've been seeing advanced aluminum prototypes of a carbon version (and that's not happening), it should be done by now.

Looks solid, though. I guess the release will be all the sweeter for it.

 They didn't, though; the black stanchion coatings on all the new suspension components are only cosmetic. They're a black hard anodized coating, as opposed to the DLC Black Gold coating that their World Cup racers had a while back on BoXXers. That coating, while insanely slippery, was unfortunately deemed too expensive for mass production.

On a related line of thought, though, I love that the UCI doesn't put restrictions on components or frames for MTB like they do for road. In road racing, everything has to be available to consumers, or pre-production, in order to be raced - which means components can't really be experimented with and race-tested like they can for mountain.

 first of all those are his jumps. second anyone who dirt jumps would understand the skinny jean thing (keeps the pads in place and out of the way) thirdly your a dick.

 What trail is he riding at the end? I ride in Bend a half dozen times a year and I've seen that trail in several edits, but I have no clue where it's at.

 It sort of looks like Horse Ridge just based on the views. The flat desert in the background looks like the badlands. I've ridden Horse Ridge a bunch of times though and never been down that trail so I could be wrong.

 towards the end of the video you can see a couple of distinguishing features far out in the background...if this trail is anywhere near Bend you should be able to track it down...also it never hurts to PM someone for directions/permission, it may be on private property??

 Bend is a great town, but it has a lot of competition in Oregon. Depending on the time of year it's always top 3 in my book.

EDIT: That trail, or one that looks just like it does show up in a lot of videos. I've asked around and never found it, though my friends in Bend are all XC racer types.

 Pretty sure it's Cline Butte, which is just outside of Tumalo, which is just outside of Bend. Some pretty cool trails out there. Last time I rode there (few years ago) there was still vehicle access to the top.

 Every few months a video from Bend pops up and it makes me miss living there.
