Trek Gravity Girls Boat Trip - One week, five Islands - Part five

The last Island on the girl's journey was El Hierro, one of the not so known Canary Islands. El Hierro, nicknamed Isla del Meridiano (the "Meridian Island"), is the smallest and farthest south and west of the Canary Islands. But nevertheless with some amazing scenery and trails for the girls to shred.

Solveig, Katja and Steffi going down on some old stone path in the mountains of El Hierro

As most of the Canary Islands, El Hierro offers a great mixture of different climate zone. From dry desert like regions on the top of the mountains to rain forest trails on the way down.

There was no hotel waiting for the girls in El HIerro. Too their surprise tentes were waiting for them in the mountains of El Hierro

Camping in the wild landscape of El Hierro. The girls really enjoyed it.

That's it for the Gravity Girls Boat Trip on the Canary Islands. A big thanks goes out to Trek, Bontrager, adidas eyewear, and sixsixone for making this trip and the team possible. Philipp Foltz from Atlantic cycling for organizing the trip and knowing the best trails and spots on the Islands. Daniel Geiger for some amazing pictures and for entertaining the girls through the whole trip.

You can follow the girls on their facebook page - www.facebook.com/TrekGravityGirls

And finally here is a little bonus video from Steffi Marth riding at the Canary Islands La Palma where she┬┤ll be staying over the winter. For the Ladies out there in Europe there will be a Freeride Camp from 6-13 December 2011. More info at www.atlanticcycling.de
