Specialized P1 chromo

$550 USD
Specialized P1 chromo frame size large Rock Shox Argyle fork Truvativ Stylo cranks Halo Combat 24" wheels Kenda K-Rad tires Avid BB7 brakes 180-203mm rotors Chromag Fubars OSX full 780mm width Transition Temple Lite stem Haro plastic pedals with stainless steel studs Bontrager seat This is a very unique dirt jump bike. Indestructible steel frame that is made to take a brake gyro. 24in wheels so you can race BMX and I mostly rode it at the local bmx track. It originally came with a 26" front and 24" rear wheel. The fork is 26" so it could be changed back to that easily. Big brake rotors for trials and general urban assault. The paint on the frame is a rough matte black with gold flecks (see photo of the head-tube) and combined with quite a few chips and rub spots give it an industrial look. The grips in the photo have degraded and turned to goo so you will need a new set. PayPal or cash dj jumper street park

Jamis Parker

$350 USD
A great frame for a beater bike. Includes everything shown in the first 7 pictures. - Cane Creek Cloud Nine rear shock - Marzocchi Bomber Z1 Sport fork - Hayes Stroker rear brake - Specialized Control tires 1/2 tread - Truvativ Holzfeller stem - SRAM 9 sd cassette - etc. The rear chain stay broke as the 2008 Parkers are known for, and was replaced with an updated 2009 black one. "Parker is designed for riders who want a stout-but-light-&-tight bike they can use for gate racing, jumping, slope style riding, or all day trail riding. One of the modifications -- a lower, closer to hub-axle centerline dropout pivot position – yielded a lighter, stiffer, and stronger rear triangle. Another – reducing the wheel travel/shock stroke leverage ratio from 2.6:1 to 2:1 made the suspension much more active." http://www.jamisbikes.com/catalog_archive/08_JAMIS_CATALOG.pdf

Ask Pinkbike - Spokes, Lever Adjustments and Noises in the Back
You don't always need tools for bearings, heating and cooling expands and shrinks metal a lot more than you realize. Most press fits are only around .0005 to .001 I recently put new bearings in my bottom bracket. Heated the bearing cups and was able to push the old bearings out by hand. Got the new bearings super cold, and with the cups still hot the bearings basically fell in. Let them sit together until the temps equal out and the bearings are locked in place. I have access to a bearing heater and liquid nitrogen at work but you can do the same with a stove/oven and your freezer. A lot of grocery stores sell dry ice which works well. Heat guns are good for swapping bearings in a frame.
