It’s Eurobike-time! From August 27th to 31st more than 50,000 visitors are expected to storm Friedrichshafen’s trade fair venue. They cannot miss Conti’s stand in Hall B1/booth 100. At Continental, visitors will learn all about the highest bike tire technology and how it is used to create the 2015 range. For the first time in Friedrichshafen, during the demo day on today’s Tuesday, guests can check out all the new Conti rubber.

Continental follows the new 27,5’’ trend and upgrades its extended product-range for this new format, which will be available in the Mud King, Kaiser Projekt 2.4 as well as other models.

The German tire manufacturer will also be officially launching the outcome of their in-depth enduro sector developments. The outcome is the next level of enduro tire technology: the new ProTectionApex which will be presented at Eurobike. This extreme long-lasting compound is specifically adapted to withstand the extreme strains of enduro riding, enforced with an extra Downhill-Apex casing. The German magazine ‘MountainBIKE’ recently awarded this fresh rubber-technology as the best enduro tire available (issue 08/2014). The Kaiser 2.4 Projekt ProTectionAPEX enduro tire will be shown for the first time at the Conti booth in Friedrichshafen.

Conti is also adhering to the direction of broader tires and rims. Optimized riding performance on broader components has led to the release of new race-tires in the dimensions of 25mm and 28mm.

Starting at 5.00pm, visitors can meet Conti’s star troops for a signing session. Coming over to meet the fans will be street trials hero Danny MacAskill, reigning FMB World Tour Champion Sam Pilgrim, vice-champion Martin Soderstrom, Anton Thelander and Germany’s best slopestyle rider, Peter Henke. Naturally, they won’t miss the party afterwards either.

With all due respect but the riders featured need tires - that hold the air and are more or less round - not much to show how good tires the company can make
