Scott Scale Pro 29er
$3700 USDThis here is a 2012 Scott Scale Pro 29 xc race bike. It has served me well throughout this years highschool race season, but its time to let her go.
The bike came stock with an XO rear derailur, X9 shifters, and a X9 front derailur, but I gave her a few upgrades to make her shine.
Upgrades include - American Classic Race Wheelset, very light at 1435gr, and very strong.
- Rockshox Sid XX Fork, hydrolic lockout.
- New KMC GOLD chain replaced about 2 months ago, along with a SRAM XO cassette.
- New cables and housing.
This bike rides extremely well, and shifts super crisp. It climbs like a dream and accelerates like no other. Being a race bike she does have normal wear and tear but nothing serious.
She weighs in at around 20lbs setup tubeless, and is ready to rock.

The Argument For Short Travel Bikes - Opinion
I agree with the writer of this article, mainly because I just got second in a local downhill race on my hard tail singlespeed dj bike, with the competition being full on downhill bikes.
