Feb 18, 2018Hope, Stans, Maxxis
$150 GBP26 inch wheels.
Maxxis high roller tyres
2.3 with exo protection on the rear
2.35 super tacky on the front
Set up and running as tubeless.
Both hubs are black Hope straight pull, 32 spoke. Built by Hope. Front is for a 20mm axle rear is set up for 10mm bolt (fits into a regular quick release, but is more secure), but adapters are easy enough to fit for other setups. Standard 6 bolt pattern for discs. Freehub body shows the usual signs of wear but nothing major.
Rims are destickered Stans, think they are flow ztr, but can't remember?
Rear rim has a few minor cracks by a couple of the spoke eyelets (tried to show in pictures) and I snapped a spoke out on the front wheel. The usual scuffs and marks from a wheelset.
No I don't want to swap for an x box, bmx or that sort of guff.
Open to sensible offers

Opinion: A Cry for Help
Anyone remember from like 15 years ago, a company called Toby hansen enterprise (THE)?
They released a rim that had a raised center section, that was meant to help stop pinch flats.
Everyone complained it was too heavy I think. But I can't remember what they were called or find any pictures of them.
