Commencal Supreme DH World Champs L/XL

$950 GPB
Specs - Forks - Fox 40 RC2 Ti, unsure of year Shock - 2011 Marzocchi Roco RC WC Cranks - 2011 Raceface Atlas FR and 2013 Raceface 83mm Hollowtech bottom bracket Wheelset - 2009 Funn Descender (rebranded Sun MTX33) on Funn Bullet hubs (really nice hubs, bearing last ages and are very cheap to replace) Gears - 2014 Sram X5 Tyres - Maxxis Minion 2.5 front and rear, front is like new but the back is a bit worn. Still plenty of life though. Brakes - Avid Juicy 7, unsure of year, on Hayes V8 rotors Frame - 2011 Commencal Supreme DHv2, 8 inch travel, 62-64 degree adjustable HA. This came in two sizes and this is the bigger one. All bearings and bushes are in perfect condition. Saddle - 2013 Superstar Signature Seatpost - 2014 Raleigh carbon layback Pedals - 2011 Burgtec Penthouse or 2010 Crank Brothers 50/50 Headset - 2013 FSA Orbit MX Bars - 2013 Superstar Descent uncut, 780mm Grips - 2013 Lizard Skins Northshore Stem - Truvativ Holzfeller in white, unsure of year but probably ~2010 Excellent to ride, single pivot suspension is just adept at everything; irons out the small stuff and doesn't back down from the big hits. Really adjustable too, you can change the wheelbase and head angle with just an Allen key; making it anything from a poppy park bike to a slack and long DH steamroller. The forks are amazingly stiff and the bike just feels really solid and strong. The rear shock is amazingly smooth and very adjustable. Newer Marzocchi products such as this are no longer plagued with the quality issues which happened between 2008 and 2010 and are back to their pre-Taiwan levels of q9uality, hence I've never had an issue with the shock, it just complements the frame perfectly. The brakes are sharp and don't need a bleed, this was done in December last year along with pads. The lever feel is nice, I'm not ordinarily an Avid fan but these are reliable and strong. As stated above the drivetrain is nothing boutique but it gets the job done. Honestly, there are a couple of things needing done on this. Firstly, the forks need new seals and oil, and the cassette which is currently on here is a 9-speed and the mech and shifter is an 8-speed, its like this because I wore the teeth off of the original cassette and just slapped on a spare one. It has worked fine for me for ages but you may wanna change it if you're the perfectionist type, since it doesnt get the granny gear (not that it matters too much on a DH bike). A new one is only about a tenner. The wheels could probably benefit from being trued but they're not bad right now. On the whole, as you can see from the pictures it's in pretty good condition and after a fork seal change it'll be ready to tackle any trail you can point it down. I'll include the other head tube sleeve and a spare back axle. I would much rather cash on collection as posting from where I live is a bit of a hassle because some couriers consider me to be in the highlands and islands. If you pay for the postage and the paypal fees we can negotiate something. Priced low for a quick sale as I need the money to buy myself a little motorbike for getting around. If you need to know any other specs or want more pictures, attack me with a private message or a text. Thanks.
