Beginning with the 2016 race season, 18-year-old Austrian, Daniel Schemmel will be wearing the colours of the Cube Action Team.

Daniel Schemmel

Daniel is no stranger to the enduro scene, having snared the junior European champion's crown in Kirchberg in 2015. For 2016 he'll be representing Cube at all the key European races. Racing as a junior he'll be able to accumulate points for the whole team in the Enduro World Series, but the experience of riding alongside the other Cube Action Team riders will also help him develop his skills.

Daniel Schemmel

“Daniel is the ideal addition to the team as a junior. We already know he'll be a big talent for the future and we want to give him the time and trust he needs from the team to help his development!” says Claus Wachsmann, Action Team manager.

Nice one Daniel!! I think he may be the first semi-pro/pro rider I have seen wearing glasses, there is hope for me yet! It would be cool to know what he does for that. I don't wear my glasses because they bounce when riding and I don't wear contact lenses because they slide down my eye and go blurry.

There are usually six sides to every story in order to get the right-angle, but this news is a squarely solid victory for Daniel. Next year on the track, we will certainly C U. BE safe until then!
