I need your guys opinion. Should I get a fox DHX or a Fox Van RC. I could easily save up for a fox Van RC on the other hand the DHX would take a little more time. I wanna know is there a big difference between the two. I have a Manitou swinger 6 way SPV right now it's fine but its just not how i'd like it. Everybody go ahead and say oh my gosh stop worrying about your suspension just ride and have fun *cough cough Kenneth. I just want your opinions.
Well so far im loving my van rc it has all the adjustments that you would really need although i like to have plenty of adjustability and would like to eventually move up to a dhx rc4 but im not really in any hurry the van rc is a great durable shock and reasonably priced the compression is pretty adjustible as well as the rebound although it does not have any specific bottom out resistance adjustments like the dhx but if i bottom out frequently just i crank up the compression and it doesnt really affect small bump sensitivity
Bottom line is that if i were you i would probably go with the van rc because it is well priced and can still turn your bike into a magic carpet and maybe in the long run if you really feel you want more adjustment then go with the dhx.
haha ya i thought my rear shock was nice then i rode my friends demo with a DHX 4 and realized mine sucks. I botommed out pretty hard on the 40 at mansions today
