Early in the season Niclas came to me with an idea of an edit he wanted to make. He`s been riding motocross since he was a kid, and really wanted to shoot some motocross and mix it up with some bike riding. As summer came along, Niclas struggled with some injuries which made him unable to ride moto or mountain bikes.

He healed up just in time to race the WC here in Hafjell, and we started shooting the edit just after that.

I work full time as a mechanic, so I'm only able to film from 16:00, and the light is gone around 19:00 at this time of the season, making it a challenge to shoot the edit. But as soon as I was off work, we headed up in to the bike park and got a couple of shots before dark, and repeated this for over a week in order to gather enough footage. And the following weekend we were able to shoot the moto part in Våler, with big thanks to Knut and Hans Petter as they helped out a lot!

 great edit ! it take a lot of skill and strength to ride through sandy conditions and be up on the pegs keepin the throttle wide open like he is doing on the motocross part. as for the DH, I was amazed !!

 Moto-X hemlpmets are way bigger than DH helmets! Makes you wonder how much use DH helmets are! Also, after the MX bit, did anyone else think the Session looked tiny! They tyres and everything looked so skinny, I kept thinking maybe it was a Fuel or something!! Big Grin

 If you fall on the dh bike with a mx helmet helmet would be too hard because you do not have such a high speed that it is built for. DH helmet is built to take the case to a lesser speeds and will be much more help if you fall off the bike than mx helmet will. (:
