The Final Mega Randoms - Taipei Cycle Show 2024
Have the carbon SQLab bars, 12 degree back sweep, (31.8, clamp, 35mm rise I think?) – and they are definitely 800mm wide. But yeah, going from 7 degrees to 12 was more of a game-changer than I had thought... for the better.

The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 198 - Our Pedantic Pet Peeves
@pingeligcretin: I know. I try not to with most things on the internet. That being said, Ryan from Loam Ranger's point, about young or in-experienced riders, hearing the comments from arguably some of the most influential mtb-media-personalities here on Pinkbike, and getting dishearten and perpetuating a level of gatekeeping or elite-isme that I've never seen from the MTB-community before... and that's really sad, I think.

The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 198 - Our Pedantic Pet Peeves
@henryquinney: I really think you're being a bit tone deaf here, and missing the point of the criticism (maybe not from that specific comment there) – it's not as simpel as not liking a podcast, but there was genuine toxicity, gatekeeping and punching down from you and Mikes comments; which I think for most of us feel very very off-brand both for Pinkbike – and MTB'ing in general. As I've written elsewhere, you (the PB editors) get to live in the perfect MTB world. Fantastic bikes, trails, products, travels, time to ride etc. etc. – it's so far removed form what 99% of us mere mortals get to experience, that getting to relate to (well made) "bumbling influencer" content is, well that. Relate-able. And you're kidding yourself if you've not noticed the metrics of their audiences and popularity. Should at least make you stop and think, no?

Video: Highlights from the Loudenvielle DH World Cup 2023
@mi-bike: I got my commentary genres mixed... I don't mind "shouty" for color commentary, it sets the importance and mood of what is happening. Within reason. Rob often suffered from his info/feed being even more delayed than what you were seeing as viewer, but he sure could set the scene. I think the 2nd man, the "analyst" should be less "hype man" and more actual... well analyst; don't just shout stuff for the sake of being heard. My 0.02 dollars.

So, uhm, can we just keep Aaron as color commentary? So good technical insights, with none of the shouty nonesens of... others.

Good looking TRAIL bike. |t'd be nice if you elaborate a bit more on the Fluid vs the Optic too. Cheers.

The new SID’s are 35mm stanchions. The chassis bares a lot of resemblance to the Pikes too. But still impressive.

Field Test: 2022 Rocky Mountain Element - Radical Geometry Meets Low Weight
Sounds like a bike that's a good fit for my local (very) flat trails. Would it be fair to call it the spiritual successor to the Thunderbolt? Or what, if anything, are RM going to do with the Thunderbolt? Also, think we'll see a BC edition down the road?
