Bike Checks: Brook Macdonald & Laurie Greenland's Mondraker Summums - Crankworx Innsbruck 2020
@HollyBoni: I use a 10spd Saint derailluer and 10 spd Saint shifter with an E Thirteen 7 spd cassette and it works fine. I think most DH bikes are 7 spd these days and that's one way to set it up. SRAM and Shimano use different pull ratios but if you use a Shimano shifter with a Shimano derailluer then this is not a problem.

@seraph: You can use a 10 speed derailleur on any amount of gears up to 10. You can, for example, use a Saint 10 spd derailleur on a 7 speed cassette as long as you set the limit screws accordingly.

Nukeproof Mega AM

$750 GBP
For sale is my Nukeproof Mega. It is in used condition with a few chips in the paint and rub marks from cable wear / foot wear against the chain stay. However it still rides really well, I've done loads of servicing so its feels good, brakes work well, suspension feels plush, gears index properly etc. Recent servicing to this bike includes: - New frame bearings and wheel bearings (about 5 rides ago). - Just bled the brakes and the dropper post - Forks and seals have been changed many times - Shock was serviced just before I bought it, it still feels pretty plush. - New gear cable Below are the specs: 2013 Nukeproof Mega AM, size small Rockshox Monarch Debonair shock Rockshox Lyrik Forks, air spring with upgraded top cap allowing volume spacers to be fitted. Rockshox Reverb Stealth dropper post, 125mm travel Hope Cranks, 170mm long Hope V2 tech brakes with braided lines, 200 Hope rotors and Hope pads Stans Flow rims laced onto Hope Pro 2 Evo hubs Renthal Fatbar, 780mm wide Shimano Zee 10 speed derailleur, Saint shifter 32tooth narrow wide chain ring 1.5 Truvativ stem, 40mm long . A few things to note: - the fork lowers were replaced with Domain lowers as the Lyrik ones broke. Internally the fork is a Lyrik, both the Lyrik and Domain lowers are exactly the same. - I have a selection of tyres to choose from including Magic Mary, Nobby Nic, Big Betty. I can fit which ever you like - There is slight wear to the black coating on the shock stanchion. This coating is microns thick and does not affect the performance.

I've never had a problem with servicing or spares from Jungle Products. I've had a problem with my BOS forks and they fixed it easily.

Riding Some of the Best Trails in the UK - Worth It, S01 EP16 - Video
These are very much trails, not dirt jumps. I see dirt jumps as something put together for a competition for example, whereas 'trails' have been built to perfection over many years.
