This is the last Making Of 'Dartmoor: Inside Story' video we want to show you. This time we were with Dartmoor crew in Taiwan, checked their regular day in the office and spent some exciting time with Szymon Godziek.
We still have some final clips to make and some story to put together, but we hope we will be able to show you the whole movie by the end of March.

Taiwan trip
As you know, there would be no riding or jumping without well designed, strictly tested and properly produced frames, parts and bikes. The place where most of the high end gravity biking stuff is born is Taiwan. A small island close to China with very friendly and hard working people. If you could spend a year at the Taipei airport you would see technical designers and brand managers from all the best bike brands in the world coming here several times per year to bring their new projects to life.

Jan Kilinski (tech.designer) and Andrzej Macha (brand manager) from Dartmoor-Bikes came to the Taichung area to explain their new ideas to the local engineers and make sure that their new projects for the 2014 season are developing according to schedule. They also find some free time to have a bike trip around the biggest mountain lake in Taiwan with their Taiwanese friends.

Session with Szymon Godziek
Szymon has been with Dartmoor since the beginning of his MTB rider career. Dartmoor has been with Szymon since the beginning of the brand's rapid development. When Szymon met Andrzej for the first time he was a new face on the Polish dirt jumping scene and Dartmoor was still just a local Polish brand. In the next few years they exchanged hundreds of emails, made hundreds of phone calls and arranged dozens of meetings together creating not just the smooth sponsorship relations but also a friendship between them.

No doubt Szymon will be one of the main actors in the 'Inside Story' video. This time we visited one of the best DJ riders in Europe to watch him take his bikes through his favourite local dirt jump and freeride spots as he is preparing himself for the new season.

Bogumił ciężkie pytania zadajesz, według mnie na 50% robią, obróbka cieplna jest jednym z wymogów zwiększenia wytrzymałości alu, przesycenie w temp 400-450st C, i starzenie do 100stC, chociaż mogą robić zwykłe odprężanie

OBRÓBKA CIEPLNA - RODZAJE:
• Wyżarzanie
- rekrystalizujące (300-400oC) – w celu wyeliminowania skutków obróbki plastycznej – przywraca właściwości plastyczne,
- odprężające (100-150OC) – w celu wyeliminowania naprężeń odlewniczych, spawalniczych itp.,
• Utwardzanie dyspersyjne (wydzieleniowe)
- przesycanie w wysokich temperaturach (400-500OC) i szybkie chłodzenie, w celu rozpuszczenia i utrzymania w roztworze przesyconym związków metalicznych,
starzenie naturalne lub sztuczne (100OC) w celu wydzielenia się związków międzykrystalicznych na granicach ziarn osnowy stopu.

Getting myself a gunmetal stickerless Dartmoor Rage stem and Nitro handlebar for my new dh-build. Used a Rage direct mount for the past years. Short, light, durable.
