Santa Cruz V10 Carbon with Fox King and spare wheels

$1500 USD
Great condition Santa Cruz Carbon V10 downhill bike. I built this bike up years ago using top of the line components and loved every minute riding it. It's an awesome bike that handles downhill riding with ease. The only issue is it's too small for me. Back when I bought this a size Large bike was the recommended size for riders 6'1" tall. Nowadays the geometry numbers on this bike would be more like a Medium. If you are in the 5'7 - 5'10 range this bike would fit you much better than it fits me. In fact I haven't ridden this bike in the last 5 years and have rented instead on the few occasions I got to ride. Now that Snoqualmie pass just opened for DH though I want a new bike that fits me. The bike also comes with a second set of wheels. These wheels have saint hubs and are labelled saint rims but I believe they are really made by DT Swiss. They are wrapped in Maxxis tires and have decent tread left on them. You can also mullet this bike by throwing on a 27.5" wheel up front (my buddy has that exact setup and loves it). The bike is pictured with pedals but I'm keeping those. You wouldn't want those pedals on a DH bike anyway! The bike is in great shape. Theres some minor scratches on the fork from shuttling (see the pics) but the frame is super clean. Mechanically everything works great too. It could probably use a new chain but that's about it. It's ready to tear it up - just needs a new rider. I've priced it to move as I want it gone from my garage - but I'm not desperate! Here's the specs: 2013 v10.4 Carbon Large VPP suspension FOX 40 fork with Kashima coating Fox DPX read with 450lb spring (I may also have a 500lb spring in my parts bin) Saint brakes and levers Easton havoc DH wheels Schwalbe Hans Dampf DH tires E13 cranks Race face chain ring Shimano cassette and chain Zee shifter Zee rear derailleur Chris king headset Pro stem Pro bars Odi grips Thomson seat post WTB Vulcon saddle 2nd set of wheels: Shimano Saint hubs Saint labelled rims (believe they are DT Swiss DH rims) Maxxis High Roller rear Schwalbe Muddy Mary front Like: Yeti, Orbea, Transition, Evil, Commencal, Trek, Specialized, Giant, Diamondback, Kona, Pivot, Norco, Ibis, Rocky Mountain

Dakine Announces 'Team Aggy Series' Downhill Gear
@IdoTag159: Yeah I noticed that. I'm guessing they had a lot more footage but had to pick the stuff where you couldn't clearly see the Kona logo. I also feel bad for Dakine launching a Downhill Series when their sponsored rider just moved to a bike company that doesn't currently have a downhill bike (in the traditional sense - not in the sense that Aggy couldn't go downhill on a Wreckoning).

Not sure why you got down voted for that mate, I was wondering the same thing. I guess we are the only two that noticed Roxy mention it.

From the Top: Hans Heim - CEO of Ibis Cycles
@slimboyjim: IMHO, Ibis has the best customer service in the business. They've gone above and beyond to help me several times in the past. They even sent me a $35 titanium part for free after I told them I'd accidentally dropped (and lost) the original in the grass while servicing the bike. Totally my fault, totally awesome customer service!
