yeah i do agree with you, I think that we've also gone slightly off topic with regard to the article. I think we both agree that girls should have a greater range of bikes and products tailored to them, not just the same bike painted cute colours and labled as a girls model.

^lol, I don't think that the one of the issue's with designing a bike specifically for women is to "relieve pressure on the vagina" lol. The biggest difference in skeleton structure is in the pelvis, women have a wider hips than men and the greater hip width influences the position of the femurs, which are often more angled than in men, giving them a slight X shape in the legs, but im sure that if you could design a bike to relieve pressure on the vagina they would be most greatfull.

While I agree that all women are different (I've learned that the hard way) women's bone structure in the hips and femurs is significantly different than in men, I disagree that one bike suits all and they could benefit greatly from a bike that is designed specifically for them, whether or not bike designers take in to account the ergonomic difference in women I don't know, I'm sure some just lower the stand over height and paint them cute pastle colours. I've had girlfriends that have been more comfortable on men's bikes than women's so who knows...

Its not XC is it. The qualifying in moto GP is not part of the race but they still award points for 1st place. If you can hammer the downhills and then cycle back up the hill 10minutes quicker than every other rider on each transfer why not give points for that.

The course looks awesome. Is it still the case that you only get an alloted amount of time to get from the finish to the next start? I still think that the amount of time it takes to cycle back up should help decide the overall winner. I'd give each rider 5 to 6hours of time for all the transfer time between stages for both days. Then award points, even if it is a small amount to the rider who has used the least time. Surly this would progress the design of the bikes as pedalling efficency and fitness would become more important.
