"The Cryptkeeper is the best in the business. I am extremely confident about that fact and the love that went into the designing of it came from a place of respect for trailbosses and riders. We hit the geometry out of the park first try, but with tapered steerers taking over the fork market, we needed to make sure our customers had options and were not going to become limited. In the end, my main worry was designing a bulky and ugly tapered headtube that would kill the clean lines of a cr-mo frame, but I think we got it right and we hope our fans love it!" - Eric Davies (Deity, Owner)

The Deity Streetsweeper V3 is now also available with a tapered headtube and butting modifications to the chainstays to increase strength and stiffness that can be affected by the high leverage point of a positive BB rise.

"The Streetsweeper has seen the most changes over it's lifespan. From geometry to now our new chainstays and tapered headtube, the Streetsweeper has evolved and is one of the few street frames on the market that is compatible with tapered steerers. Of course, if you do not have a tapered fork, you can just run a IS 52/30 lower kit and convert your 1 1/8" fork to work flawlessly. Options are vital!" - Eric Davies (Deity, Owner)

Several bikes like the Kona Shonky AL use sliding dropouts for thru-axles: konaworld.com/shonky_frame.cfm.

THIS is how new frames should be presented even if the changes are small. High quality images, multiple colors represented, all the specifications you could want, two quality edits, AND insight from the owner of the company regarding the changes. Nice job! @deityusa

I love the frame and I totally would get one, but my current dirt jumper has a straight 1.1/8inch steer and I just got a brand new fork for it and also, I have a chromag build on my bike and if I switched to a deity frame, it would attract a lot of haters.

Weird, but a tapered headtube is what is stopping me in most cases. I just don't like buying two seperate headsets so that I can make a tapered one. I've had enough trouble with my Glory and I do not want to go through that again!
Yes, I did buy two headsetes, because for some reason, a FSA tapered one is 45Euro, whereas a 1.5 is 15 and a 1.1/8 is 13.... It comes out a lot cheaper, but I just want to stick it to the idiot who thought a combination of the two should cost double. So angry right now! Big Grin

Wow, I love the uplifting music. It is ok, just keep perpetuating the going stereotype. Good for business and all that.
  • 4 0
Which stereotypes are you referring to? I could name a ton of musicians that are emotionally heavy lyrically but because it is delivered classically it is more accepted. Just because rap and punk rock sound abrasive doesn't mean the lyrics are all doom and gloom. Some of the most positive and profoundly poetic lyrics I have heard have been from hardcore rap and punk rock. Nobody should be buying a product based on the choice of music used in an edit anyways. The rider or film/production team most likely make the music selection, which they should, and the company just approves the edit. If we micro analyzed the lyrics in product release edits every company would be making "terrible" business decisions. I enjoyed the Biggie Smalls and Bad Religion and it didn't make me think any less of the riders, the product, or the company.

I just cracked my frame might get one of these they are awesome
  • 1 1
i like diety , but i cant run mtb cranks so ill never buy one
  • 1 0
If only they used Mid not Spanish. They make a 24mm Mid BB now. BMX cranks aren't too bad. Take a look at the Eclat Maverick, they look like a little of both worlds.
  • 4 4
 BMX!
  • 1 1
Yeah! But I'm a little confused about the 83mm Spanish bb, and why not mid anyway??
