Santa Cruz V10

$4500 USD
2014 Santa Cruz V10 size large Easton HAVOC 35mm bars. Cut from 800 MM width to 780mm width Easton HAVOC 35mm clamp stem Cane Creek 40 headset 2014 Fox 40 Air 2014 Fox 40 DHX RC4 (500lbs spring) 2014 Raceface SixC cranks 2014 Shimano SAINT rear derailuer and shifterpod 2014 Sun Ringle A.D.D. PRO wheels WTB Silverado saddle Thompson Seat post 2014 Shimano saint brakes (180mm rear, 203mm front) 2014 E13 Chainguide/bashguard 2014 Raceface BB 2014 Raceface narrow wide chain ring Maxxis Minion 2014 super tacky in front and rear. After being on this frame for three years (first two on the alloy/carbon frame) and this past race season on the full carbon frame I can say that this bike will progress with you from cat 3 all the way to cat 1. With the 2014 frame you point, shoot, and rip. Racer? You have the best race machine on the face of the planet. Want to dance through the rock garden? Pop the front up and the bike will fly. Not much into dancing through it? Move your butt towards the rear axle and this bike will be pulling rocks out left and right as you plow through the rock garden. Like hitting jumps and big air? This 37lbs beast will launch as far as you're willing to go. Want to leave your mark on the mountain? You’ll be ripping berms to shreds and embarrassing all of your friends in no time. Do you enjoy having a sore face from grinning like a thief the whole way down the mountain? I do and I know you do. This bike will have a shit-eating grin on your face from the time you roll off the lift platform to the time you fly over the 50ft finish line jump in Whistler as the babes at the GLC bar gawk at your Bugatti Veyron of a downhill bike. In terms of set up, you can set it up for your weight or a little stiffer than your weight needs and it'll still rip. As a racer, I prefer my setup a little stiffer. The bike will maintain a consistent feel yet want to go even faster with a little extra stiffness. If you’re just getting into racing, I recommend keeping it pretty close to your weight specs so you know how the bike works. If you’re a seasoned racer, you can run pretty much whatever you want. The bike still feels smooth as buttah no matter how stiff you run it. I am selling the bike because the team I'm riding for next year doesn't run Santa Cruz. Contact me if you'd like to add ENVE rims to this package.
