Honestly! The only reason they haven't ruined Hall yet is that it's too difficult to smooth out the rock. They'll probably make a detour around the Rock Garden and close it for "restoration" in the near future.
haha...truer words have never been spoken! then they'll find a way to spend $40k on a 'bridge' for the sourdough trail...so that they can ride it on their fully rigid singlespeeds.
BMA has had some good wins. Valmont Bike Park, a new loop up at Betasso (Benjamin), a new loop at Heil (Wild Turkey) as well as major face lift for Wapati (some say they took all the tech out of it but i think its great and one of the fastest trails in the county, if you can go at a time when it isn't crowded as f*ck).
Still new trail openings have been pretty slow for a place where mountain biking is so freaking big. I don't understand why we can't win more. I don't know the politics that well but I understand there is a very any develop anything open space sentiment in Boulder but still , i don't know, i just would have thought that we'd have overcome that now with just sheer numbers. Everybody in Boulder mountain bikes. I work in an office of 50 and our mountain bike email list is like half the office. I just don't get why we can't push through more trails.
I thought for sure all BMA board members ride $10,000 Specialized Epics or Moots fully rigid's
