Mountain Biking's Troubled Roots & the Hope in Marin County
This article doesn't portray Marin as I know it from growing up there for 22 years. There are some trails and fire roads that don't allow bikes but there are so many that do its ridiculous. Its not British Columbia gnarly dh or Moab amazing rock features but Marin has a wonderful variety of single track, fire roads, and recently an awesome flow trail and bike park.

Don't visit Marin as a whole, just a small town called Fairfax. You'll feel welcomed and maybe even thank me after visiting.
